Just got home from seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... |
|
And I have to say, without apology, that those who are saying they hate it or dislike it have never read the book. Save a couple of dramatic license plotlines, it is very much the book. It was so great. We just loved it, and Johnny Depp was fantastic, and now I see why the little boy who played Charlie is already an Oscar Nominee. Wow. Oh, and the Oompa Loompas were hilarious...as were the other children and their parents. Such charactatures...Stephanie Weir has shown she's more than Mad TV. She's awesome. Duckie

2. I thought Johnny Depp was gorgeous as Gilbert Grape... |
|
I even thought he was pretty fine as Jack Sparrow. And he was cute as Edward Scissorhands.
But I just can't deal with the blue-face and the bob. :D
I'm planning to take MMjr. to see it, though. :D

Honestly, he becomes Willy Wonka. And he's so wonderfully weird. Duckie
