Who remembers the Jonson Smith Catalog?
http://www.johnsonsmith.com/website/aspfiles/home.asp?UID=2005071720180562

II remember their ads in the back of Boys' Life magazine for practical joke items such as phony bricks, snapping gum and whoopee cushions.

3. My brother spent all his allowance
on that stuff. Who could even read the catalog? The print was so tiny and they put as much stuff in there as they possibly could.

The amazing thing though - it all worked!! Especially the X-Ray glasses!
Oh yeah - sisters all over the US thought the itching powder was hilarious too.

4. Had an experience with that stuff once...
Yes, it was from my older brother... I blamed it on him watching the Brady Bunch.

I think that stuff was fiberglass, too. Horrible!

Edited on Sun Jul-17-05 08:30 PM by yorkiemommie1
that they advertised on the back of comic books. A tiny chihuahua in a teacup. Did anybody ever send for one? I can't believe they'd send a live dog.

edited to add : Yes, I was gullible! lol
