DU cooks: Fondue questions |

I want to cook marinaded flank steak in little cubes in oil in my fondue pot (tonight flank steak..... tomorrow night Karl Rove.... it's what's for dinner).... What sort of oil should I use to promote good taste and not have the fondue pot burst into flames?
