:hi: You should be able to get there today, then, with some judicious (or injudicious) posting...
Thank you kindly. :bows:

That's a *really* difficult question...I love so many movies! If we go by the ones that made me think, or generally wrecked me, Solaris would be in that list. Ones that scared the crap out of me: Alien, the original War of the Worlds, Event Horizon. Ones I've seen 8 million times, or that I always watch when they come on cable, Young Frankenstein comes to mind. Cool classics, 2001:A Space Odyssey, of course. Light fluff that cracks me up every time, Undercover Brother, Spaceballs, a few others.
I can't come up with just one :D! I watched X, The Man With X-Ray Eyes last week (olden flick with Ray Milland), and it was the first time I'd seen the whole thing. It was cool.
What are your favorites?

5. it sounds like you are a Sci-Fi fan? |
|
I LOVE older, classic movies such as Rebecca, Rear Window, The Women, The Little Foxes, Stella Dallas, Mildred Pierce, Lawrence of Arabia, Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, anything with Fred & Ginger, Heaven Can Wait (with Gene Tierney)... those sorts of things... I love going to the movies, but there's not a lot that's being made now, that I really enjoy. It seems that the current moviemakers re-do a lot of the old plots, and don't re-do them well, IMHO.

6. I'm a HUGE sci-fi fan! |

Horror movies too, good scary ones. Comedies are good too. Can't stay scared all the time :D.
I watched westerns on TV when I was a kid, and the more I found out about what really happened, the less I cared for them. C&W music makes me itch as well.
I guess the short version of a movie I'm likely to put on my list is "sh*t blows up and everybody dies". :D

7. Did you like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs? |
|
those were 2 Quentin Tarantino movies that I saw that had good plot lines... I didn't really like the 'gore' aspect to them, but it was plot-driven, not gratuitous, I guess... I really didn't care for the 'Kill Bill' movies though.

9. I really liked Pulp Fiction |

Never made it through Reservoir Dogs. I thought the Kill Bill movies had a few good parts, but frankly found a lot of the scenes boring, because I'm not into anime, and I'm not familiar with the Hong Kong movie tradition that Tarentino was paying homage to. I did think Uma was great, as usual.
QT was pretty good in From Dusk Til Dawn, though. :)
