Ah, the smoking. Many of us smoke, but she was the voice of an angel. Why did Church of all people start? 'Oh, some silly bitch says to me, "Do you want a fag?" And I really liked it straightaway. I was like, mmm, yeah, love it.' What will it do to her voice? 'Eventually it will get deeper and raspier because of all the crap on your lungs you've got to sing through.' Church also says her breath control is not as good as it used to be. 'But it's bearable, I can deal with it. I still enjoy smoking

One big pop album would probably earn her more than ten classical albums, and probably a lot easier to do. Plus, she can tour on a pop album easier.

Not personally a big fan of either sound, but she is adorable.

I'm speechless. I have all of her classical "lite" CDs from her younger days. If she really wants to become a pop-tart, then more power to her. At least she really can sing--it's not all studio magic.

This girl has a tremendous, classically trained voice. Too bad that she is now seeing fit to waste it on pop trash. Oh well, I guess I won't be purchasing anymore of her new albumns soon.
