1. How old are you?
I am sure you will find what you are looking for, however, not until you stop looking.

2. Aw,
:pals:

I think that way too a lot. I try to make myself not think that way, but it's hard. I hope you find someone who loves you and whom you love. I hope we all do. :)

5. Start off with a dog.
A golden retriever could bring you lots of love. How could a SO snort like a dog at the mere sight of you while inhaling your every scent?

Then if you succeed there, some other species, maybe even human. But methinks love is often hormonally controlled stuff. Then there is that dreaded thought: Is our species designed to be monogamous or just our culture trying to force it upon us?

Love happens when you aren't looking for it.

9. someone who is in love with you, and then you'll meet them?
i prefer the more traditional method of meeting someone, and then falling in love, but that's just me.

10. Yeah, what he said.
It's not too often you're in love with someone the moment you meet them.

21. I meant that.
I feel as though I am being taken out of context. I meant that I would meet someone who would fall in love with me.

11. No, they kinda have to meet you *before* the love part.
Unless you're talking about love at first sight.

12. Be careful what you wish for
The guys who fall for me are *losers*.

There's nothing worse than having a loser panting after you... if anything, it lowers the old self-esteem.

13. What makes us *losers*?
I mean, what makes them losers?

The fact that they are drawn to you? Or that once they meet you, they are enthusiastic (maybe TOO enthusiastic) to get to know you and spend time with you? (The panting after you part?) Or is it some guy who's too shy to ask you out, but hangs around all the time trying to work up the nerve? Do they watch too much Dr Who and know all the words to every Al Yankovic song? Are they skinny, or fat, or short or balding, or not snappy dressers, or what? Old and still living with their parents? Drive an old Ford Escort? Maybe into bird watching and Harry Potter?

Or are they convicted criminals with a history of abusing women? Do they borrow/steal from you to feed their gambling addiction? Did their meth lab blow up their parent's garage? Do they sleep with a dozen women a week while telling you they're being faithful, then shout at you for taking a phone call from your male cousin? THOSE are losers.

15. I didn't say YOU were a loser
Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 03:29 PM by XemaSab
I'm saying that I've been pursued by too many guys who didn't have jobs and lived with their *other* girlfriends who paid the bills, or sold dope, or were grossly underemployed with no chance of ever making much more than minimum wage EVER because they dropped out of school.

That's what a loser is. Someone who makes bad life choices for themselves, and shows no signs of ever making good choices. That I don't want to get sucked into.

On edit: To elaborate, all the people in your second paragraph are certainly losers too. I've just never been pursued by any jerks like that.

The people in the first paragraph sound like me and all my friends.

:-)

Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 03:40 PM by Kathleen04
Do you need anybody?
I need someone to love.
Could it be anybody?
I want somebody to love.

Would you believe in a love at first sight?
Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time.

What do you see when you turn out the lights?
I can't tell you but I know it is mine.

Oh I get by with a little help from my friends..
Get high with a little help from my friends.
I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends.

:)
