What is it you hate the MOST about seeing a movie in a theater?
The price of the tickets and munchies? Jerks who bring cell phones in? People who bla bla bla during the movie? People who bring noisy brats with them? The ads before the movie? (Read somewhere as much as 20 minutes of ads!) Movies getting too long?
Other things?
All of the above?

and the sound in the theater, the music parts are blaring and the talking parts are indecipherable.
I don't go to movies much anymore.

and people that bring babies! It was YOUR decision to have a kid....either wait until it is old enough to be quiet at the movie, or wait for it to come out on DVD!

7. Strangely, we don't usually get too much disturbance |

I don't know if we go at the right times, get lucky, or sit in the right place. We sit towards the front. On occaisionally are there people in front of us. The cost is probably the biggest annoyance, which is one reason that we don't go too often anymore, especially when DVDs come out relatively quickly now.

and the shitty movies. Seems like there's rarely more than one or two movies a year worth speding the money and getting a sitter. I'd rather wait for the DVD most of the time.
I do wish that movies over 2 1/2 hours or so had an intermission. The last half hour or so of Return of the King were torture, I wanted to pee so bad, but it seemed like the movie would be over any moment, but it just kept going and then there was a song and a wedding and more movie...
I thought I'd die.

That's the biggest reason I don't go to the theater any more. If I have to go to the john, I'll miss something!

11. Mostly just the blah-blah-blah Hollywood drek they show. |

I guess rude moviegoers who disturb the peace are annoying, but I don't recall ever having had much trouble with that.
As long as I have oddball cinema to watch, I'm fairly happy with the experience.
