Poll question: What is your style? |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 02:32 PM by BushIsAPooHead
This has to do with dress, music, attitude or whatever... What do you most closely relate to, if anything?
Me, I'm a bit hippie, way less than I used to be. I really consider myself not to relate to any of the below at the moment.
On edit: Addition of "Nerd" and None. thanks

Except when at work - which doesn't count - I dress how I am most comfortable. That means that, with the exception of a bra, I wear what I want and screw what anyone else thinks about it.
edit: I checked "hippy" on your poll. Jeans, man. ;)

The reason is that I work in a conservative area and occupation. I only have several more years until retirement and I want to finish out my time without any hassles from "the man". So, I'm going to lay low and play it cool.

You should see me when I get back from a day in the field.
I don't think "beautiful amalgamation" describes sweaty clothes, blisters, sunburn, hair full of twigs and leaves, scratched, bitten, etc.
I think the word is gross.
Unless you mean inwardly, in which case, thanks!

Casual shirts or t-shirts with jeans or shorts as the weather dictates. At work, I have to wear shirt and tie 4 days per week. There I'm very classic too. Nothing too avant-garde.

Even though I live in Ft. Lauderdale, you'll never find me wearing ANY lower body clothing that doesn't reach the back of my heels. That is the one standard that shall not be broken.
If it's EXTREMELY hot, I'll wear silk pants.

Buy clothes. Maintain stable weight. Keep clothes until they wear out. Eventually you will be able to date your clothes by decade. My earliest are from the 1960's, some with colors that had only a brief period of fashion acceptability. I will admit that I am more likely to wear the 1990's clothes, but I do wear the earlier ones as well. I listen to music from all of these decades as well, although I do find the reference to 1980's songs as "oldies" a bit hard to take.
