Is it norml for some employees in companies to be ill-willed toward others
such as saying things about others that aren't true?

2. I could write a novel of
the malicious, nasty, back-biting things that I have witnessed people doing and saying.

Yeesh. :eyes:

It's only too normal. :(

3. If by normal you mean prevalent then I agree.

Some organizations seem to breed nasty behavior.

5. I do... and for some bizarre reason it's reassuring.
To know that this behavior is prevalent.

4. Where I work the lines aren't drawn between employees...
but departments. I can talk to anyone in my department, but if I go to a different department or floor, they are rude and act like I'm wasting their time. Unless I call the queue and get a random person, then they're nice, but only because they're being recorded. It sucks. And I'm nice to everyone.

7. Yes, Have encountered this in all my jobs from teaching, clerical to
the art world...that's why I work from home now. And it is not always at work either; that's why I've become a bit of a recluse. I do think it would be fun to get together with people from DU, haven't had the opportunity.
