The little girl not the shark.

Edit: Duh. She's absolutely beautiful. You don't know how lucky you are.

5. Also, that's a COOL shark. I have a rubber crocodile that's almost
as cool. But I don't have shoes or socks that are nearly that cool.

Where is is it cold enough to still be wearing coats and hats???? It was probably 106 here today.

6. Profile says he's a Canuk
So he probably had to shovel snow off the emergency generator to post. :)

9. It's an old pic.
I long for the weather we had when it was taken. I can't remember exactly, but if she was wearing that coat and tights (instead of a snowsuit) it would have been in the 30's: chilly, but not too cold.

It's been getting into the low 90's almost everyday for the last 3 weeks here. I know that's pretty mild for a lot of places in the States, but around here it's setting records.

10. Wow, that must be bad if you aren't used to it
But I'm still cracking up at the 30's being "chilly, but not too cold." I suspect I'd curl up and die, but I had long pants on this weekend and it was over 100.

Here's LK's shark pic, from Halloween. He's quite obsessed with sharks, so much so that he insisted on wearing his costume to Costco a few weeks ago.

12. Great costume!
I spent my first 30 years in Kansas where the 90's are pretty common during the summertime. It can get kind of cold in the winter with brutal prairie winds, so the cold is nothing new. Although, several week long stretches where the temps stay in the low teens or below are a novelty.

8. Man, she's almost as cute as my kids
(you know how it is, it's a contract, you have to say your own kids are cuter.)

That's adorable!

13. It's important to teach kids how loving, cuddly, and huggable sharks are
That way a part of them will never grow up.

14. She picked it out and treated it like a teddy bear for a few weeks.
So I think she knew in her heart the truths of which you speak without a grownup needing to show her the way.
