5 injured as car crashes into other vehicles, bursts into flames
http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-crash19.html

Five people including a Chicago man were injured, several critically, in a bizarre series of crashes in southwest suburban Oak Lawn on Monday night.

Police are still investigating what unfolded, beginning about 6:40 p.m. on 109th and Keating. That's where police officers investigating another incident spotted a black Pontiac Grand Am roaring down the street, swerving and with one of its passengers hanging out of the window, said Oak Lawn Police Chief Robert V. Smith.

Officers called out for the driver to slow down, and they alerted other officers about the incident. When officers next spotted the Grand Am, they could only watch as the vehicle hit a Ford Mustang at 103rd and Kilpatrick.

The driver of the Grand Am continued eastbound on 103rd, leaving the Mustang and the injured driver, a woman, behind.

Came to stop on front lawn
