Will one of you get me an electrician? Fuck!

Rant time on! Ok, huge storm blew through here yesterday, took down a massive limb on my willow, which pulled all of the lines down. So, electric co. puts the lines back up, but they tell me i need an electrician in order to get my power back. After calling literally 11 electricians, i get one at 6:30 last night, who drove 40 miles to get here. He gets up there, and tells me i have a serious problem, and that he doesn't know if he can fix it...safety issue to the extreme. He's able to do a temporary fix, but we are on minimal power usage...no dryer, ac, or stove, etc.

I need an electrician to come do what's called a 'service drop', and i need it like yesterday. Again, I have called over 10 of them, and nothing.

i realllllly hope my house doesn't burn down...sigh.

So, if anyone knows an electrician in Western MA or Southern VT/NH, let me know :P

Basically, we have a huge cable where the power comes into the house, and it was damaged in the storm. They thought it could just be repaired, but it's really frayed and needs to be replaced. I think the storm was super bad, so there's not an electrician to be found. :(

Seriously, if I am capable of such thought, take your time. Usually the crooks want you to suffer so they can stiff you. Maybe the newspaper has a handyman's section? If they charge a lot for a visit then they have to have a low hourly. Actually, I do feel sorry for you. They need my wise guy stuff. "Hello. I need the juice turned back on..." "We charge $100 to visit your house." "In that case I'll just dig it up and bring it over to you. Where are you located? In your mom's basement?"
