60% of Americans drink some form of alcohol and 30% do not drink.

Gallup did a poll (I have no idea why!) and the results show:

39% prefer wine

33% Prefer beer

25% prefer liquor

They said there are 3% more wine drinkers now than in past years, and they seem to have switched from beer.

I just thought this was an interesting note for the day.

I drink all three at different times, but I must admit, most of the time it's beer for me.

do you have a site for that? The older I get the less liquor. Beer consumptions goes up in the summer but wine is my consistent choice of alcohol.

6. No link. It was just a commentary on CNN. They have this guy from

Gallup on all the time talking about their recent polls. Most of the time, it's all political, but today, they tossed this one in.

I don't know if you can find it on Gallup of not.

There doesn't seem to be much middle ground between "drink some kind of alcohol" and "don't drink". What else is there?

8. I don't know, but I suspect the buy from gallup was just rounding

numbers. I guess you could try the Gallup site and see if you can find these results. I haven't tried today, but in the past, I could never find where they post the results.

This was just a note on CNN from the Gallup guy who they have on all the time.

I just cant stand the taste of any alcohol. The only thing I can tolerate are wine coolers or margaritas. And I only have that on the rare occasions. I average under 10 drinks per year.

I used to drink them all the time when I lived in Tx. It's kind of a thing there. They're very good, but beeeee carefulllll!
