Can I bring insulin needles on an airplane only because I'm not islamic?

1. Yes, you can take them on a plane even if you are Islamic.

Insulin needles are acceptable. You might need a prescription or something just in case, but I know you can take them. I was on a trip to Mexico in April with a diabetic friend who took a week's worth along with no problem whatsoever.

I have many times with no problems, never a question about them.It surprised me at first since you can't even have nail clippers.

A friend of mine is Indian, and he gets stopped at the gates EVERY FUCKING TIME, for nothing. I have an entire case filled with needles and vials filled with insulin and I get through without a second look. How do they know that what I'm carrying is insulin? For all they know, it could be VX gas.

4. Depends on the airline if they will give you trouble or not.

NorthWest Airlines was absolutely horrible to me and I will never fly them again. On the other hand, Continental was a gem. To be absolutely sure, take a doctor's note with you stating that you are diabetic and need the needles.

7. I dont' have a problem getting it on. That's the point.

The irony of my post is that I have no trouble getting vials of unknown liquids onto an airplane along with needles to adminster them, while my friend couldn't get through airport security with a backpack filled with Marshmellows.
