DU auto buffs, I have a Question...

This is a 1985 Pontia Fiero.

It is in perfect condition and it runs very well.

It is not up on blocks, nor is there any hint of rust on it.

Does this officialy qualify as a miracle?

1. Has the engine fire recall been done or is this a rolling death trap.
Said with love, cuz I had one and loved it.

3. I've only ever ridden in one...
...however, I alway's thought this type/style of auto would've been best left to the Europeans.

Miracle? I think I've seen more Pintos and Vegas on the road. (Anyone remember the Vega?)

4. Plastic body panels
do not rust.

Focus on mechanical issues like brakes (does the parking brake still work? and things like that).

If I remember my GM history, the early Fieros were thrown together with bin parts from other models like the Citation. It may be wise to check parts availabilty.
