1. It's a good way to reflect on all the things you've accomplished
I look so good on paper, it's frightening. Try it! :)

2. I had a month ago and haven't done anything new since.
I was pidgeonholed then discarded. Replacement jobs don't pay nearly as much and working two jobs will take me well beyond the brink of exhaustion. (HAH! Assuming I can get two and I've even tried for that retail shit more times than I care to remember and I never get past those profiling tests.)

Sometimes it can be a little unsettling to do these things. We have to get the stuff down on paper: it can seem strange when we know what we did; we're good at what we do.

But it's still a good idea. Remember: a resume is not a job application. We don't have to put down anything we feel is negative.

Our resume is actually a form of personal advertisement: we should highlight all the good stuff we've done, but not personal things like 4-H, or any religious stuff.

Good luck. There are lots of web sites that have good advice about putting it together.
