I finished "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" today
Now what do I do? I waited two years for this book. Now it's done, and dammit, i feel unsatisfied. I am not saying anything about the story, or the way in which it ended, but the book was a lot shorter than the last two, and I tried not to go too fast, but I am very frustratd that I have to wait at least two more years to find out what happens next (there were a bunch of cliff-hanger type things in this one).

1. I know what you mean.
I wish I had waited for them all to come out before starting the series. I hate having to wait years to see what happens next.

4. Really?
I hadn't been keeping up with that. Is that the one with the Tri-Wizard Tournament? I disliked that book immensely...but it will probably make a better movie than it was a book. Can't wait to see the Veela...they will look like slim slinky Pam Andersons!

3. well, there's always the fall release of Lemony Snicket ...
I think Book 12 is due out in a few months. That's the next thing I'm looking forward to.

7.  Amen!
That's exactly how I felt when I finished it as well. I was trying to take my time to stretch out the experience, but then it got to the point where I just had to keep going. Now it's gonna be a long two years until the next book. :(

The only good point, however, is that the fourth movie will be out in November. :) This is Goblet of Fire for those struggling to catch up.

9. I hate having to wait for years, though this series isn't as bad
as Robert Jordan. I've been reading his wheel of time series for 13 years now and there are still several more books to go.

11. I finished it yesterday
I know what you mean. But imagine how we will feel after the next one comes out. It is the last one. At least we now have another interesting story to look forward to.
