6. No, I'd ask the same question

In fact, I have asked the same question every time some disgruntled male wonders why all the hot babes ignore him in favor of the guy with a prison record.

I could ask why one of my past gentleman friends dumped me for someone who was literally mentally ill. I could ask why a relative of mine stays married to a woman who treats him like a servant. I could ask why a past acquaintance drove 500 miles to visit the woman who had divorced him after telling everyone in town how "undynamic," ugly, and unsexy he was.

The fact is, a lot of both men and women settle for the wrong mate and even get emotionally entangled in toxic relationships. But it's not ALL of either sex.
