Yech...never try to save smoothies
This morning, I put blueberries and yogurt through the blender, then took the resulting smoothie to work and tucked it into the fridge for later. I'm not sure what it turned into, but it's kind of solid and gray.

1. Blueberry smoothy
It's a greyberry lumpy.. I wonder if some lemon juice would preserve the color?

2. Might
But I doubt it would help the texture. It's all kind of curdled and chewy looking.

3. Bad texture trumps good taste
I had a similar fridge fiasco with some parmesan risotto this week.

6. Yogurt is acidic
How can it be hurt by more acid?

7. um? freeradicals?
not really, but anyway.

yogurt is a fragile substance, that's why store-brands (I make my own) that use real fruit pieces put the fruit on the bottom. once it begins to interact with the yogurt it makes it go bad.

It has something to do with the lunar cycles.
