Okay, time for teenage rant.
I know this belongs in the Video Games forum, but I'm not a donor yet so THERE.

Anyhoo.

I would like to rant about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Parents are saying that the game contains explicit sexual content, that the game is not suitable for kids.

Okay. So, you're fine with your kids beating the crap out of a cop but NO SEX. NOPE. SEX, WHAT IS THIS SEX? WE CAN'T HAVE SEX IN VIDEO GAMES. WE CAN BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF A COP BUT NO SEX.

The game was rated M for Mature (17+) for a reason. REASON, people, REASON. So that young kids couldn't buy the game. When I say young I mean 12-16, which is apparently the majority of the customers.

Parents, STOP BLAMING GAMES FOR YOUR POOR PARENTING. DON'T GIVE THE KID MONEY TO BUY A GAME UNTIL YOU CHECK THE RATING. DON'T BUY THE KID THE GAME EVEN IF HE SAYS THAT HE'S GONNA HOLD HIS BREATH UNTIL HE TURNS BLUE.

God, what are parents gonna go after next? I mean, sure, sex in a video game isn't cool (To me, at least) but I know that other people enjoy the game.

And don't say that you don't have any control! Check the rating. If you don't like the content in the game, take it away from the kid! Don't let them go over to a friends house if you think that they're going to play the game. Don't give the kid money for the game! Stop being lazy and start doing your job!

Like I said before, what are parents going to go after next? Books? Movies? T.V shows? Hmmm... Well, I guess they have to spoil the fun for everyone else, don't they? What ever happened to good ol' family entertainment?

:argh: :wtf:

2. It isn't meant for kids at all. No kids should own the game. Period.

6. Right. I know, and makes. Me. Mad!
You wouldn't let your kid see a prn movie, would you? Why let them play the game.

I heard that some guys kid likes to watch ESPN. The dad is all upset because they don't have enough kiddy-friendly matieral on ESPN. What some parents don't get is that some things just aren't made for kids.

4. ask yourself: WHY are there no porno video games?
its not like there wouldn't be a market.

the games makers & console makers are running scared of the mighty bush administration. the brouhaha over this little bitty mod is hilarious. in 20 years, we'll look back on this as the beginning of the porno game industry & laugh as we drive to the bank in our hydrogen hover mercedes.

18. Better be quick
If you want the original version. I hear that Rockstar North is going to be remaking the game so that nothing dirty is in it.

19. I really don't care about the 'naughty' bits. If I want 'naughty' bits
there's a whole fucking internet out there full of it, and not in some crappily rendered block-figures.

Some people (I'm not saying you) have zero perspective.

of "anyhoo"

MiniManda: As I understand it, you have to download code from the Internet in order to play the porn module anyway. Is it true or not?

17. As far as I understand it, yes.
That means that you have to hook up your PS2 to your computer and then download the file.

Earth to DLC retard: People don't care about those family values they just want to restrict the rights of women and minorities so trying to get their votes for '08 is fucking pointless.
