People whose girlfriends are ridiculously and needlessly loud... |
|
Need to get places with thicker walls.
Or at least invite me over.

my oberservation is; it is MUCH better when you're participating in the noisemaking rather than hearing it.

6. Imagine how the sounds of spanking carry through walls |
|
And I don't mean of children.
One such couple lived in the apartment right above me. They were quite friendly and pleasant. But they were devoted to the S&M scene and didn't care who knew it.
Of course, now that all human sexuality has been identified as part of the failed liberal policies of the past, that kind of thing won't be happening any more. My latest set of neighbors are middle-aged Jehovah's Witnesses. The only whips they allow are the occasional containers of Kool-Wip for apple or peach pie.

7. My mom had a problem with her neighbor being too loud |
|
I'm all for consenting adults having fun but I don't wanna be kept up all night by your amateur porn moans. When I still lived at home I got fed up one night by the neighbors across the hall and screamed, "She's faking it." Things got better but as soon as I moved out she went back to her old ways. My mom was complaining recently because it's bad enough she has to listen to it but this woman has a 12 year old son and the couple above her has a 10 yr old daughter who has already asked her mom what the noise was. Her solution was to play Josh Grobin. Now that may kill the mood for me I pointed out that some people might like it. I ended up going to Strawberries and buying her a gospel version of those kids bop cd's. I figure if that doesn't get her to tone it down nothing will.

13. When I built my place |
|
I insulated the interior walls between my bedroom and the rest of the house.
I could blast an air horn in there and not bother the rest of the house's inhabitants. :)
