Million Dollar Baby was tough to watch.

It was a great movie,but I can't say it was an enjoyable experience.

1. Yeah, I didn't know what to expect when I went to see it and was

certainly not prepared. I rarely tear up in movies, but did in this one. Everyone who received the Oscar deserved it, but, you're right, it's not a light movie that you come out of feeling good.

2. I thought it was one of the best movies I had EVER seen.

It was real, gritty, and , well, REAL. I Rarely cry with movies. This one took me from a point of elation to a depth of depression quite effectively.

I do not get sucked in by silly or emotional story lines.

This movie had neither, and it was REAL.

I felt ALIVE after I saw it.

4. Those three actors are mesmerizing in it.

It was an experience.

.. hard to describe to those who have not seen it.

9. What a tough road that poor girl had to travel.

It choked me up,gave me goosebumps,watching this sad story.

10. But, given where she came from, and what she had accomplished...

and her inner strength.... it all worked out in the end.

I have goosebumps and shivers when I think about the story.

But there is a veneer of REALITY over it that gives me comfort.


I hope my reality is different...

3. Donovan was pretty cool singing heavy metal too.

I thought it was a neat idea to have him in there.

5. Cried like a baby, but inspired by the love shared by the characters

and the AWESOME acting done by Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman, and Clint Eastwood. It's a movie that definitely makes sure appreciate life and the love of family (by relation or by love).

Hillary is so beautiful, and she and Clint and Morgan were all at the top of their games. But you're right, just horribly sad.
