Can I go home yet?
Dammit, it's nice outside and I wanna go play and not sit in a cube!!! Today more than usual!

"Can I be excused? My brain is full."

Reviewing data in Excel just isn't doing it for me, today... :eyes:

4. Only if I can go too.
I'm sick to death of TS-16949, skeevy employers, lying co-workers, lazy managers...

I'd rather do home improvement, and that is saying a lot.

21. Automotive Technical Standard TS-16949
Freely translated: bullshit.

Kind of like...if fill out all the paperwork in the world, and audit everything in sight, you'll never make a bad part.

RIGHT.

22. UGH.
Just like the stuff I'm doing. If we make enough rules, people can't make mistakes filling out Clinical Research Case Report Forms. SUUUUUUUUUURE. Make it idiot-proof, and someone will find a better idiot...

8. Don't forget the part about having to walk seven miles each way,
in the snow, barefoot.

And getting paid with a bagful of nickels, and damned few of them at that.

12. snow? LOOXURY!
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 10:11 AM by ltfranklin
Whay, we had to walk 14 miles to work over broken glass, with naught but old woolly socks we had to weave ourselves out of our own back hair! And uphill to boot, BOTH WAYS!

Nickels? LOOXURY! We would have killed for nickels! Nay, we were paid with empty walnet shells, AND a slap to the side of the head, and we considered ourselves damned lucky to have that!

And no dental coverage either!

13. We didn't NEED dental coverage! Our teeth all fell out from the gruel
we ate for our only meal of the day. The sand they mixed into it to make it seem more filling wore our choppers out by the time we were eight.

27. You had GRUEL? LOOOOXURY!
Our only meal, once a week, was the dead skin-cells we had to scrape off our bodies to make it! Sand? Oh, we would have LOVED to have had sand to put in the pot...and we didn't even have a pot! THAT would have been a LOOXURY!

9. Just nobody call MY boss...
he's a real pushover and will tell me to go on ahead and get out of the office, and I'll do it because I'm a lazy son of a bitch, and then nothing will get done (just like it's not getting done now while I'm farting around on DU), and I'll have to do it tomorrow morning because nobody else is going to do it for me.

23. He's a real pushover. And Missy has his ear. I think she's whispering
to him right now, in fact. He can never resist her...but then again, who could?

25. Especially when she gets a litlle, uh, naughty, saying things like
"Psst...why don't you come on over here and give me a little spanking, Big Boy."

I think she likes girls, too, so you may want to be careful around her.
