"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" |
|
Mr. C & I watched that movie last night.
We both really enjoyed it.
Anybody here seen it? What'd you think?
After it was over I said that I would never do anything like that to erase a person from my memory, but I'd like to be able to erase little annoying things that keep bugging me years down the road.
Mr. C seemed to think that was a bad idea and doing any kind of mind erasing is a slippery slope.
I'm not so sure I agree with him. I mean, if I were to erase the memory of when I sneezed & farted at the same time in 8th grade and the whole class laughed at me, would that be so bad? (As an example of the kind of memory I'm talking about).

5. I thought it was an excellent movie |
|
and personally, I think we haven't nearly enough understanding of the human mind to go playing with it that way.

9. I saw the second half or 2/3 of it |
|
It was interesting but very odd (which is not necessarily bad as I like odd). I couldn't quite grasp the gist of it as I'd missed the beginning plus I was not able to pay close attention to it. If I were able to see it again I'm sure I'd be able to appreciate it more.
