Having been in one band or another for the better part of 15 years, I've spent my fair share of time making up band names. It's like a hobby. Please throw out some band name ideas Come on, it's fun! Here's mine:

the name of a real band in Minneapolis. It's actually an all-star conglomoration of a bunch of semi-notorious musicians from the local scene. They're not half-bad, in a country-rock cover-tune kind of way :P

They were one of the first "Industrial" bands to emerge from the UK in the early-mid 70s around the same timeframe as the punks. Most of them were a little more 'artier' and educated, although several of the groups did influence later music.
