Today we were lucky - only 99 degrees in CO |
|
This last week, we have experienced 100+ degree days. We're one mile in the air, and at about 40 degrees latitude. I've lived here for three years, and I have NEVER felt this type of heat since my days in Texas.
My A/C has been pumping quite a bit. We are thinking about installing a sprinkler system, but we don't know if we're going to get that much money back in value for our house.
Any thoughts?

2. For some reason it feels hotter today.. |
|
and the heat seems to be lingering longer this evening. My swamp cooler hasn't been able to keep up since about 10am.
At least we don't have 90% humidity.

3. We hit 99 also with 67% humidity. |
|
At one point they said the heat index was 111. Tomorrow we are heading for 103. I hope the humidity drops, it is like trying to breathe through a wet wash cloth. Makes working a lot harder.
