I received this email from a friend & first thought it was freeperish. |
|
> FORWARDED IN THE NAME > OF PATRIOTISM > We all know that it is a sin for an Islamic male to see any woman other than his wife naked, and that he must commit suicide if he does. > > So next Sunday at 4:00 PM Eastern time, all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists. > > Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this antiterrorist effort. All men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of their house to prove they are not terrorists, and to demonstrate that they think it's okay to see nude women other than their wife and to show support for all American women. > > And since the Koran also does not approve of alcohol, a cold six-pack at your side is further proof of your antiterrorist sentiment. > > The American Government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists and applauds your participation in this anti terrorist activity. > God bless America > and > GOD BLESS AMERICAN WOMEN! > > IT IS YOUR PATRIOTIC DUTY TO PASS THIS ON

1. Just sounds like sarcasm to me |
|
Just like the email that was circulating around before the election...that Kerry supporters should drive around at night with their headlights on and chimp supporters should drive around with their headlights off.
Which,of course, would have solved alot of problems if...ok I will be nice and not go there.

Probably most of middle America or those on the right would find this totally acceptable and would think that we're just being politically correct to be offended by it.
Whatever -- if something like this makes them happy, so be it. However, I wonder if they'd find it so funny if someone did this using Christians as the group that they're against.

3. A funny counter-reply... |
|
Well, it's not so great for a woman to see a naked man she's not married to, either. So hey, let's all get naked, in the name of Gawd and Country! We could call the event...
...Naked Bigotry.

4. What about the children?!? |
|
I mean, think of all those kids who were traumatized for life after seeing Janet Jackson's boob for a fraction of a second, what is going to happen to them if they see all these women parading around naked in their own neighborhoods?

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of these people who thought it was so horrible to see Janet's boob, but would probably go for this idea in a heartbeat.

9. Sacrifices must be made in the name of patriotism |
|
And this is a sacrifice that I, for one, am prepared to make. If getting good and drunk and naked in public is the only way to weed out the evil terrorists living among us, then I'll be on the front lines of this particular battle in the war on terror.

11. I think it was meant to make fun of mindless patriotism. |
|
At least considering the person who sent it to me.

It's a bit rude, and slightly sexist and xenophobic, but it's all in good fun.
