Sometimes I get tired of seeing Quinn pics, but this one is really well done. I like the color contrast between the red and the blue, and I like the detail in the cat's eyes.

I didn't feel like photoshopping the reflections out either. I went through enough effort cleaning up the little eye-boogers in the corner of his eye and bring back some of the lost detail in the shadows :).

To be honest, I was getting tired of photos of him too, that's why I had reposted old ones recently when people asked.

I just had a new batch of ideas for Photoshop I wanted to try out (I've got a little plug-in that emulated Fuji Velvia film and works beautifully for improving color saturation and such).

This was the first one I've done while experimenting with that filter and natural light :). So far I'm very pleased with the results.

That one seems like it's almost over-sharpened. Mine seems just a tad under . . . somewhere about halfway between would be very nice :)

I just have to be careful with adjustments on pictures of him because the slightest bit in the wrong direction and he stops looking like Quinn and looks completely different :)

I'll tell you what though, this 50mm 1.8 Nikon lens is freakin' awesome (especially for a lens that only cost $89 :)).
