What can make a grown man cry?
It's been along time since I last had a tear in my eye.But took kid away to college orientation and I must admit that brought a tear or two.How about you what melts your heart like a flaming arrow?

1. Whenever my little cousins run up to me and give me hugs .
Whenever they do that , it makes me cry . Sometimes I could be having a stressy day or just down but whenever they do that it reminds me that everything is alright :)

4. My cousin is 17 - she will be a senior in high school this fall .
Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 06:42 PM by CarolinaPeridot
And I am already sad LOL - I remember when she born and how we would just eat snacks and watch MTV all day when she was a tiny tot ... When she goes away to college I am going to play the overprotective cousin and just bawl tears when she enrolls . Ahhhh I am getting misty now . She wants to go to Georgetown - AHHHHH I could not be even prouder . I need a moment .

16. My father seldom cries.
But there were three distinct occasions when I remember him doing so:
1) When his father died;
2) When he first left me at my college dormitory six hours away from home; and
3) When I told him that I had cancer.

I can't stay in this thread long. The idea of Dad or Mom crying just sets me off like a bomb. Torture me, hit me, taunt me.. just don't make my parents cry - I can't stand it.

32. Oh..
it was five years ago.. just testicular.. the Big C runs in the family, so he was taken aback that I'd get a form of it so early in life. Remission came only three months later. I caught it early enough so that it didn't get a chance to spread. :P
