I just saw Matrix 3, and if you didn't like it u suck donkey-balls |
|
This is a spoiler post, so exit it you don’t want to be spoiled.
My dad and me loved it, what are the rest of you smoking? Did you expect to come out of the viewing experience with super powers? I felt that they kept the suspense of the outcome in the air. Some have said there were no surprises, so what my girlfriend and me have had sex every which way, we don’t expect surprises anymore but it is still enjoyable. For those of you looking for logical explanations to events and reality-based action sequences are forgetting that it is a science fiction movie. Pause to wave at the pink elephant with the engraved dog collar – anything is possible in a movie
Never giving up, letting go, love, peace, hate and war all were evoked in this movie with great action to push it along. The ending was a giant breeze clearing the fog of jingoistic hysteria that blinded the machine world and Zion enabling the sun of peace to be viewed in its vigilant glory.
I loved the movie, and if you didn't you suck donkey-balls

3. You have a girlfriend? |
|
If you really did have a long-term relationship you would know by now that commitment = no regular nookie. LOL.
Look, it's late. (3am EST) I wanna go to bed. But since you enjoyed the movie so much can you explain why Neo blew up?
Also,
If it wasn't for Gigli's "Gooble Gooble"; the following dialogue would win the "Stupidest Lines Said In A Movie for 2003" award:
--- Trinity: (On seeing Neo's eye-sockets more deep-fried than a cheese-curd in Wisconsin) Your eyes!
Neo: I'll be okay.
(Trinity & Neo hug)
Neo: You'll have to drive. ---
My God! I've seen people in more pain over a stubbed toe! Reeves behaved like he had a freaking paper-cut!!!

8. People have become used to |
|
having heroes in movies who have idiot sidekicks who they explain everything too. Prechewed concepts.
If a movie (or anything else for that matter) makes them think they are offended and blame the movie. If they don't get it they will claim it is stupid and again blame the movie.

And so did all my friends. And so did the entire theatre full of people. (In both showings I might add)
How do I know they liked it? Laughs, cries and cheers.

10. how'd he lose his eyes.... |
|
sound like a rip-off of Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah where Muad'ib gets his eyes fried by a stone burner but can still move around because he can see the future....
Is this what happened?...cause if it is.....RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!

11. Actually the idea of having to be blinded to see |
|
is a recurring theme in many myths. Simply put his vision of the "real" world was interfering and he had to be blinded to see. Dune and other stories that dabble in myth creation draw from the same sources. Matrix does not "rip off" Dune. It draws on the same subtext that underlies our own society. It takes these peaces and repackages them so others may be made more aware of the concepts or reminded of these stories.

I thought that it was technically well-made, offered great action sequences, and some of the best special effects and fighting that I've ever seen. I judge a movie by what it's trying to accomplish, and this movie accomplished a lot.
