Weird cleaning tip: Toilet bowl cleaner removes rust from stainless steel

I was desperate to get a small rust stain off of my stainless steel sink, so I put some foaming toilet cleaner in there. With no scrubbing the rust stain was gone.

Weird, but true!

7. Stainless steel dosn't rust. That's why they call it stainless

some other metal object caused the stain and it should just scrubb off.

11. Mine had a "rust"-like mark from leaving cupcake pan in there w/water....

12. exactly! The mark originated from the cupcake pan.

It should scrub off with a Scotch bright pad.

13. I'm chemically sensitive and can't use

regular household cleaners...so I make a paste of lemon juice and Borax. Works just as well as anything I've ever tried.
