can anyone help me w/ photoshop elements on this early sunday morning?
I'm working on this to decompress from an evening out at baseball. Extra innings, etc.; we just got home.

I took two photos - in one, the left half is perfect, in the other the right half is perfect. I want to put the two halves together and I'll be damned if I can figure out how!

I feel like an idiot :dunce: and I need help. Anyone?

Thanks

1. Here's how I would do it...
1) Crop the 2 images to the size you want them (make sure they're the same height)
2) Make a new image that is the height and width of the two images combined
3) Select all from the "left" image and paste it into the new image (on the left side)
4) Select all from the "right" image and paste it into the new image (on the right side)

2. I selected all but when I paste, I get the last thing on the clipboard --
which happens to be a screen capture from when my cat stepped on the keyboard.

Argh... more help please, merwin? I am very new to this and can't find help in "help."

3. Another way.
1. Create a new layer - duplicate.
2. Copy image 1 on top of image b.
3. Use history erase brush to eliminate the side you don't want.

You can also move the images around with the move tool to line them up.

4. Flatten then crop what you want to create a new picture if you need it.
