Who owns Lawn Flamingoes? If you do, are they in the garage, or... |
|
on the lawn?
I have 2 neighbors w/them...and 30 years ago, I had a small flock...:hide:

3. Tulip trees are beautiful indeed. Some of the other trees I am partial to: |
|
Japanese Maples, Willows, Rose Trees, Dogwoods, Birches; and for practical purposes, any type of fruit tree, (edible of course)...:)

5. Are you watching the Travel Channel? |
|
There is a show on right now about lawn ornaments. They are profiling a woman who has 400 gnomes in her yard.

8. No...but interestingly, I took a walk through the neighborhood and saw |
|
some...:)
Gnomes are strange, as are the flamingoes really, and there are a few of them here as well. I can't imagine 300 of them on a lawn....:D
300 years ago, the populace would be calling for her to be burned at the stake!!!!

6. My dad had a friend who used to line them up on our lawn... |
|
usually while we were on vacation or something like that. We'd be driving up our long driveway and there would be a row of pink flamingos. Sometimes plastic, sometimes the blow-up vinyl kind... we got rid of all of them, but I really miss coming home to that sometimes!

9. There was a story of two brothers that always played jokes on |
|
each other, and one gave the other a Pet Rock on his birthday. Not to be outdone, the recipient had a truck load of gravel dumped on his brother's lawn nine months later w/a big sign that said..."She was pregnant, YOU take care of the kids"...:D

11. I have an 8-ft. tall flamingo made out of wrought iron. |
|
Hubby bought it years ago; we repainted it shockingly pink once, but now it sadly stands behind a plum delight that totally obscures it.
