Saw March of the Penguins last night. It's as good as everybody says.

You spend an hour and a half going "awwww" and "oooh!". Amazing animals.

and there sat 4,5,6 yr. olds taking it all in and I'm crying like a baby because of the harsh conditions they endure...I was so depressed when I left. It was a good documentary, but I'm just an ol' softy.

The general rule is, the smaller the penguin, the meaner the temperament, and the researchers did witness the odd fight. Their flippers may look pretty useless out of water, but it's not smart to play around with a penguin. He'll stand his ground in a face-off and if you're foolish enough to get too close, those flippers can knock you flat.

25. Friends just did an Antarctica cruise

and yes they smell and the wife is bring air freshener to do the bathroom. As you get off land they clean you boots, but they are not 100% clean. Once back in the cabin the husband would clean the boots in the bath but even still there was a smell...

Cute buggers but smelly...
