David Byrne: Genius or just some dude acting weird?

Well, I think one can safely say that Mr. Byrne is a supremely intelligent guy, but that doesn't necessarily qualify him as a genius.

Regardless, I think he is. Talking Heads were a band who were great at making white boy danceable funk while at the same time producing strange, yet vaguely understandable lyrics. I think all his nonsense has a point, but if I tried to explain it I'd come up horribly short.

2. I voted "he's alright" because I think "genius" is a rather big word...

...for a musician of any kind. And as much as I love Byrne/Heads and have remained a fan since the late 70's, let's not forget Brian Eno loomed large as their producer for their first half dozen records.
