NL West leader San Diego Padres only 1 game over .500. NL SUCKS!

There may only be ONE good team in the NL (one that may be able to play competetively against the likes of Boston, NYY, White Sox, Angels, Orioles), and thats the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Pads were up there a couple of weeks ago but have only one 2 games since the All Star break. They just cant hit or score runs anymore.

Sad! Very Sad!

3. I thought they were last year too.
They just got caught up in the Red Sox "destiny" run.
The Cards were much better than the Sox or the Yanks of 2004, IMHO.

...the entire NL East is above .500 w/ the last place team (Marlins) only 4.5 games out of first.

7. The NL Central and West...
...NL East teams are + 15 against the NL West and + 14 against the Central.

They're exactly .500 against each other (110-110).

no one even close to them in the nl - they'll lose to the red sox or whitesox this year though
