2. Is THAT why I wake up hacking in the morning?
I thought if was some kind of dry throat syndrome. Oh well. I probably don't eat enough protein anyway.

4. there may be one eyewitness description
of Sir Alfred's tummy, missing its belly button due to surgery. . . Black says Hitchcock “pulled up his shirt to show me his belly button – which he didn't have. He'd had an operation and when they sewed him up, they took it away. His belly button was gone!”

. . . “Apparently Hitchcock had several operations in the belly area leading his doctors to sew up the , but I have never read this from a credible printed source. I suspect it's bizarre urban legend.”

9. Hmmm
1 is true I believe
3 can't be true as I know lots of people who smoke one or more packs daily and still have all/most of their teeth.
4 is definitely true. The idea that you catch a cold from being cold (or going out with wet hair) is a myth.
6 is about right-statistics say about 6-10% of the population are lefties.
8 is false-babies are born with kneecaps, they just don't show up on x-rays right away.
10 is false, the toothbrush was not invented until sometime in the 20th century.
11 is true I believe.
13 sounds true.
14 sounds true as well.
15 is true, which is why experts suggest you shop for shoes in the late afternoon to assure a good fit.
16 is probably true, which is pretty gross.
21 I'm not sure on this one, though I did read that in commercials where they show cereal with "milk" the milk is actually Elmer's glue.
22 I'll bet this is true.
23 No doubt true--one of the ingredients in all colas is "caramel coloring".
