Maybe it was hunting for freepers?

3. wow, a gator that far north?
it had to be released by someone. i don't think it could take the winters.

notice the rednecks solution is always to just shoot stuff you don't understand?

8. the only other explanation i can think of.......
...is that it took a ride on a barge and exited in KC and worked its way to the lake. strange things do happen. they have seen adult bull sharks as far north as southern illinois in the mississippi river.

we don't have alligators here in CR but we have the crocs in the photos and also we have caimans. saw a lot of gators (and crocs) when i lived in miami, though.

9. This lake where it was found is fed by numerous streams
that connect back to rivers which flow into the Mississippi. So that is a possibility. But I would bet it's more likely that it was someone's pet.

5. can't they just be executed by central american death squads?

17. Good for you on making things happen.
I would like to visit CR sometime. I love monkeys and would love to see them roamming free. You enjoy building your dreams down there! Don't let the native animals eat you. :9

Will you send me a picture of a monkey? Lily :hi:
