We were talking about a wide range of musical influences, and the differences between rythm and melody based music, and African heritage versus European and Celtic heritage. He started talking about Norwegian Black Metal, which he said had no African influence, unlike most American and British music. We had also been talking about old rap (Ice T era stuff) compared to now, and how rap has gotten less revolutionary, but more musically sophisticated. So he compared the anger and violence of Norwegian metal to early rap, and started talking about the bands that burned churches and went on violent killing sprees.

He listed a few names, but I've fogotten them all.
