Can you bake brownies in a toaster oven? |
|
If so, anything I need to know? I bought a cheap box of brownie mix as a gag because I was told to bring some brownies to a party. The party is over and I was given the box back and now it is just sitting on my counter.

1. If you can fit the pan in the toaster oven |
|
and the temperature is fairly consistant, there's no reason that you can't.
Bon Apetite.

The only thing we did differently from the regular oven is to rotate the pan halfway through (the second time we made 'em). At least in our 'Rival' toster oven, it seems that the temp was pretty uneven, or so we discovered the first time we tried.
Your milage may vary.

3. You can with some creativity |
|
You might need to divide it up into smaller pans which would mean your time may vary from the directions. But it can be done.
One year, all I had was a toaster oven because our regular one was on the fritz. My hubby was gone for the week before Christmas and I was bored out of my skull so I baked Christmas cookies. I baked 22 DOZEN Christmas cookies in my toaster oven (6 cookies at a time) that week, every recipe I had.
The toaster oven survived it and I gave most of the cookies to friends for gifts.
