Dragonslayer (love this movie)
Labyrinth (with a young but still beautiful Jennifer Connelly).
There's others that I liked, the names just aren't coming to me right now.

I agree, a very good serious fantasy film.
Labyrinth was fun too, and I love David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.

The LOTR trilogy is the best fantasy movie (rent or buy the extended version) while Legend is undoubtedly the worst.
