Cause soap can dry your skin.

9. My dear Floogeldy....
I've tried using just my hands to wash my face, but I find that they can't get off the old, dead skin cells. I really can get a lot cleaner by using a washcloth. My skin is a lot more supple after I use a washcloth...

7. Actually, jobycom, I use soap, but this stuff isn't drying...
And no, I don't work for them! I use Dove soap; it truly doesn't dry out the skin. It feels wonderful on my face....and elsewhere...

10. I've used "Lava" soap...
and boy, are you right! Now there's an abrasive soap...But it's really good at getting the very tough grime off...Probably it's a great abrasive agent as well...won't need as many skin peels if you use this stuff!

11. I've been doing backyard mechanic stuff
since I was about 13 or so, and before all the "goopy" cleaners there was nothing but Lava or Comet to get the grime off my hands and arms.

It's a wonder I have any epidermis left.
