"Leaning to Fly," I always heard the line "Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit, I" as "just an earth-bound distant high." After a friend corrected me (following much argument) I decided that however wrong, my version was still better, and that's the way I'll keep singing it, dammit. :)
