It comes in 3's -- have me somewhat concerned |
|
Yesterday morning I go to work and in the break room is the local paper -- big headlines about a motorcyclist being killed in an accident on Sunday
The motorcyclist was a co-worker, and his wife is in critical-serious condition.
last night - I received an e-mail from a friend with sad news -- another friend of ours died in his sleep Sunday night.
do you blame me for being a bit :scared:?

1. Sincerest sympathies. For purposes of argument, or at least of calming |
|
your worries, let's pretend that the rule of 3s only applies to celebrity deaths. Likelier is that since two awful things have touched close to you in a row then you ought to have an extra long time before the next such event occurs. Anyway, it's something to hope for. Peace to you and again, all sympathies.

5. At this point, you'dbe more attuned to the deaths of ... |
|
those you know, close or distant though the relationship may be.
You'll tend to be waiting for the 3rd shoe, so to speak, to fall.
I hope it all goes away with no more horrible news.
