Gird your loins for the next two days, Northeasterners.
Heat Indexes over 100, high humidity, potential for some serious thunderbumpers...the only thing we have to look forward to is after that. Much cooler and dryer weather for a while.

Take care of them outside pets.

" ... hot and humid weather to continue through Wednesday...

The hottest air of the Summer is expected to remain over northwestern
and central New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley, Berks County, and the
Pocono region today Wednesday. There will also be an increase in
humidity levels.

For this afternoon and Wednesday afternoon, temperatures are forecast
to rise into the lower and middle 90s with heat index values ranging
from 100 to 105. It will be slightly cooler in the higher elevations.

Limit your time out of doors if possible, especially during the heat
of the afternoon and early evening. Be sure to check on your
elderly relatives and neighbors. The elderly are most susceptible
to heat related health problems.

A stronger cold front is forecast to drop down from the northwest on
Wednesday night. Noticeably cooler air is expected to build down
behind the cold front for Thursday and Friday. In additional to the
heat and humidity, some strong thunderstorms are possible later today
into the evening hours."

I haven't paid attention that place in months. It's just a sampling of everything over here, with the commentary provided the Fuckwit family in Minesville West Virginia.

Yeah, that matters.
