Advice Needed: Attention HR People/ Fellow Job Seekers... |
|
I'm responding to an ad for employment and among asking for a resume, cover letter, reference list, the company (in this case, a law firm) is also requesting a salary profile. What is a salary profile and how do I set one up (is there a template on word or anything?)?? I've never been asked to include anything like that before...

...what they're really asking for is your salary history and requirements. i suppose it's possible that they want you to include the median salaries for your prior positions (which is what i would ordinarily think of as a "salary profile"), but that seems unlikely. your best bet is to contact their hr dept - assuming the ad even identified the specific law firm that posted the job opening.
