Anyone else disappointed with "Family Guy" on Sunday night?
I might be a little late, since I TiVo'd it and didn't see it until last night, but it might be one of the least funny episodes this season. Almost all of the jokes seemed to fall flat, except for the Evil Monkey gag, which are always side splitting.

Stewie's business? Yawn...

I love FG, so this is a big let-down...

1. "take a moment of silence to honor all of our children serving in Iraq"
At the yacht club. Uncomfortable silence....Laughter ensues.

I though it was a great bit.

3. They can't all be classics
Even an average episode is better than 99% of the shite on TV.

But I thought the first half was pretty damn funny.

I was drinking though...

and "Meg, who let you back in the house?"

There were some great moments in that episode :)

7. jacket off! jacket off! jacket off!
I thought it had some pretty good moments. I haven't been able to catch many this season though--maybe the others were even better. :)

8. It was shockingly mysoginistic
with the whole model theme going on and the jokes -

Peter - and I'll masturbate to your pictures
Chris - so will I
Meg - me to

Peter - get out of the house, Meg.

and the whole Quigley "do you get freaky with that?" at the agents trach hole. :spank:

Really, the new ones they are making now seem to be going after that shock value. But the last episode was so over the top, it probably does more good than harm.

Similar to when Eddie Murphy reclaimed the word nigger..

But my jaw dropped a few times during the eposide, and I am of course a mysogonistic asshole... :sarcasm:

11. I too was offended by the sexist portrayal of women...
Since obviously you sexist pigs were ogling Lois in her short skirt at the bar!

10. It was okay, it just has a very high standard to uphold
They can't all be home-runs, and I'm okay with that.
