Just got home from work a few minutes ago, logged onto DU, and I see a locked thread of people complaining about a sponcer and threatening to cease donations to DU until the sponcers ads are removed, then I see one complaining about the "cat" threads, then yet another one about how "weird" the General Discussion is tonight and how the Lounge is even worse sometimes! I REALLY love DU and I hate to see all this on here. This is, after all, the LOUNGE! People can talk about anything in here.
What's going on tonight? Is everyone mad about something and taking it out on all of US here?

It was briefly locked pending the administrators' judgment call on the ad and reopened with an announcement that it had been pulled. It was for a site that hawked T-shirts with sayings like "The best way to a woman's heart is through the fucking ribcage" and other such bullshit right-wing wisdom.
Way to go, everyone! :woohoo:
