12. Actually, evil begins with treating others differently...
than you would yourself. That whole "do unto others" thing, y'know...pretty much the only moral compass anyone needs, if you ask me.

2. In the Middle Ages, it was Pride
Pride was the root of all other sins. It elevated a person over their neighbor, even over their God, and made them believe they were special, that they could decide right and wrong. That was the first step in all sins. That was the real sin of Adam and Eve--the belief that they had the knowledge of good and evil.

Around the eleventh century, as the economy had grown beyond subsistence, and money came into use again, theologians began calling avarice the greatest of sins. People's desire for what other people owned or had was the root of all sin. Pride, once the worst of sins, slowly became a virtue.

Is BushCo's sin Pride or Greed?

Okay, history lesson over. back to work.

5. A. Humans must kill to live & as Joe Campbell said to the vegans
it's not fair to kill plants and somehow claim you are not living
at the expense of another living organism's death.

B. Sin is a religious term so it has no meaning as it has no universal definition related to individual actions.

C. If there is one thing that the everyone in the human race can be ashamed of it's lack of knowledge and the ability of many to be proud of their lack of knowledge.

A close second would be the willingness to accept anything as true without proof, but that again is owed to lack of knowledge of the person
accepting something as true without proof.

even killing. One kills because the killee has something that the killer wants. It doesn't have to be an actual object.

Taking Gods name in vain, stems from God having something they want.

Does this make any sense to anybody else?
