I always knew those Amish folks were trouble
Amish Teen Charged With Stealing Numbers

HUNTSBURG, Ohio - Callers complaining about loud music coming from a buggy led deputies to charge a 19-year-old Amish man with stealing house numbers and flower pots. David Byler was charged with theft and underage consumption of alcohol, both misdemeanors.

Callers to the Geauga County sheriff's office told dispatchers early Sunday about a buggy playing loud music and stealing items from outside houses in a rural area of northeast Ohio.

"When our officer caught up with him in the middle of the road, there were flower pots and house numbers in the buggy," sheriff's spokesman John Hiscox said.

3. Amish youth are much worse than that - watch "Devil's Playground"
When AMish kids turn 16 they go through this phase of life where they are allowed to leave the Amish community and experience the rest of the world. This is the time period where they decide whether to officially be baptised as an AMish (Amish do not baptise at birth but when you become an adult) or leave forever.

I watched this DVD and these kids go wild - I mean, crank smoking, raving lunatic wild!

7. I read in People magazine last week where
some Mormons (LDS) town excommunicates teenage boys for kissing a girl and stuff like that (drinking, etc.). They are literally kicked out of the town with nowhere to go. Ripped from their families. They have gone back home only to have their mothers and families slam the doors in their faces (b/c of the fear that they will too be kicked out). They believed it was b/c they could possibly pose a thread to the men in the town who wanted to marry the younger girls. It was horrible! So sad. These kids had no education, nothing. All they had was what they were "allowed" to be taught.
